About Brad Whipple
Brad Whipple was born and raised in Idaho and has proudly called East Idaho home for more than a decade. After graduating from Boise State University, he moved to the region for work and quickly became an active member of the community.
Brad served six years in the Idaho National Guard, achieving the rank of Sergeant (E-5). Much of his service was spent as a gunner on a Bradley Fighting Vehicle, where he developed leadership skills, discipline, and a strong commitment to teamwork and service.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Boise State University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Idaho. Professionally, Brad works in the cybersecurity industry, where he serves utilities across the nation, helping to protect critical infrastructure. In addition to his career, he owns and operates a small business that provides electrical charging solutions to the military.
Outside of work, Brad Whipple loves spending time with his family in the Idaho outdoors, taking every chance he gets to enjoy the mountains, rivers, and wide-open spaces.
With a deep commitment to service, strong technical expertise, and a lifelong connection to Idaho, Brad is dedicated to bringing practical solutions and principled leadership to the Idaho Falls City Council.
